The Old Inn,Kilmington - Being re-thatched

These pictures were all taken during the summer of 2007 and show the old straw thatch being removed and replaced.
The rear of the building is in Water Reed so has a longer life.
The thatchers were great and allways cleared up after themselves allowing us to run the pub normally!
They worked through some very bad weather as you can see on the photos
